In recognition of these individuals, this collection offers 21 unique prints, each a limited edition of 21. Seed Seed LLC (DBA Mistakes) reserves the right to use the artwork in other formats.

  • Boxes must be opened along the screws for product quality guarantee.

  • Boxes opened in any other manner will not be honored for product quality guarantee.

  • We recommend using a power drill with a Phillips head pattern, otherwise a regular screwdriver will do, just it will be slower.

Damaged items will be replaced or repaired where applicable. A request for repair or replacement will only be honored if submitted within 36 hours of receipt. Please email we@makemistakes.art and Mistakes will review your request and work with the manufacturer (if applicable) to rectify the issue.

What if I am unsatisfied with my print?

Mistakes does not currently accept returns or exchanges. All orders are non refundable and are treated as "custom made-to-order" products. For more information, please view our Returns Policy.

Are the prints pixelated or blurry?

The method used to capture these abstract prints causes blur and pixelation in the original photographs, which has been resolved in editing. Scaling the original images to these crisp high definition striking sizes may result in shapes and effects that are unique elements, adding to the art.

Can I order a custom size?

Yes, you can order a custom size in the same ratio as the original listing. For custom orders and pricing please send an email to we@makemistakes.art with your request.

Who took these photographs?

Having spotted an accidental photo on his own cell phone, and being inspired to create this collection, curator David Sundt embarked on a two-year social experiment requesting permission to browse the personal digital photo albums of friends and new acquaintances - searching for these beautiful outcasts. Generously, and with the commitment that 21% of net proceeds from the Mistakes collection will be donated to Crisis Text Line, those who provided a featured image released copyright to Mistakes; their phones are credited with taking the photos and revealing these surreal limited edition pieces. Photography is credited to the devices themselves: Apple iPhone 5s, 6, 6s, 8, XS, 11, 11 Pro, 12 Pro, 13 Pro.

How can I verify 21% of net proceeds are donated to Crisis Text Line?

A report page displaying the profit and loss for each piece will be available on the donation report page; a link is available here: Donation Report Page.

What if damages or injury is incurred after delivery and inspection?

Neither Mistakes, the printer, nor any affiliated carrier is responsible for damage incurred during handling, hanging, or during any secondary transportation after initial delivery. For this reason, it is strongly recommended that each piece be carefully inspected upon receipt.
